End of Bolt Sale

Dec. 27-31

PLEASE help us reduce our inventory and save yourself a lot of cash! Purchase all of the fabric on any bolt in the store and take 50% OFF the entire piece! Many bolts have only a couple of yards left on them, but some are brand new. It doesn't matter to us-purchase whatever is on the bolt and take 50% off. Great time to build your stash for the long winter months of sewing ahead.

Dear Friends,

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! I really look forward to this week in between Christmas and New Year's. All of the decorating, shopping, baking, AND sewing is done (although I'm still finishing up some binding on the large Lone Star Quilt because Craig, Jenn, and the girls aren't coming in until Wednesday!) and so now you can just relax, take it all in and enjoy the fruits of your labor. I will have a photo of the Star Quilt next week for you. I couldn't put it in today because Jenn gets this email and I don't want her to see it! It is also time to think ahead to the new year and make plans for growth, both personally and as a family here at Sew Special. Some key happenings to look forward to are some new products, the AccuQuilt Go system and dies, and new Viking products to be launched for their 140th anniversary celebration. Rick and I will be traveling to Atlanta, Georgia, for SewFest on January 31, where we will learn about what's in store for 2012! It's hard to imagine that Viking has been manufacturing sewing machines for 140 years! And, yes, we will be visiting with Debi, and probably taking her quilts!

January also brings our last meeting to finalize plans for Shop Hop 2012, to be held in June. And we hope to implement very soon a customer loyalty program where each customer will have a key tag to scan before purchase that will give you perks. NO, not fuel perks-FABRIC perks and other good stuff. I sure hope your key ring can hold yet another store tag!

SEW SPECIAL WILL BE CLOSED MONDAY, JANUARY 2 & TUESDAY, JANUARY 3 FOR INVENTORY!!

I really hate to close on a normal work day, but we MUST do inventory and there is just no other way, unless you all buy up all the fabric at the end of bolt sale this week and we can just count thread on Monday!!

Please make a note of this, and we will see you on Wednesday, Jan. 4.

Can you believe that we received three bolts of Winterberry Lane fabric last week? This is a beautiful primitive style Christmas fabric that we got in last June in time for our Christmas in July sale! I knew that I had ordered 7 bolts last January for the June delivery but thought they were sold out of the other three when I only received a partial order. Now they have arrived!! (I would really like to tell these fabric companies a few things about how to run their business!) Anyway, it was a very popular line, and we only have a little bit of two of the original bolts left, but now we have three additional ones, including the main panel print! Check it out.

I think that I forgot to mention the last two weeks that we did receive the new HClass100Q machines selling for the special price of $399. They only weigh 15 pounds and are great for transporting to class. They come with a hard cover to protect the machine and use the same feet as our regular Viking machines. We have three in stock at the present time. They are on backorder a LOT!

Soni is absolutely the most knowledgeable, personable and FUN software teacher I have ever had the privilege to learn from, and I am so honored to have her come to Sew Special. Soni has been working with Viking software from the onset and has helped in all of the innovations and development of the software through the years. If you own software OR have been considering why you should purchase 5D software, please come on this day and you will have a much better understanding of what you can do. If you have a laptop with the software, please bring it. If not, you can partner with someone who does. This will be an awesome day!

Join us for the last class of the year at Sew Special and finish up some of those half-done projects. This is a great way to start the new year-with resolve to get them done! Snacks at 9pm and fun all night long.

When I started the email today, the header said Volume 5, Number 52. It is hard to believe that I have been visiting with you via this email newsletter every Tuesday for FIVE YEARS! WOW!! I hope that you find them informative and helpful. If there is something more or different that you would like to see in the newsletters, please let me know. We want them to be helpful to YOU-our valued customer.

And so (sew) ends another wonderful year of serving the best customers in the world. We are praying for four inches of snow so that those of you who made purchases in December can get your money back. Wouldn't that be a super terrific way to begin 2012? Anything is possible!!
