Intro to Rag Quilting

This is an introduction to the rag quilting technique, which is great for a beginner!  If you can sew a straight line, you can do this!!  We will make "quilt sandwiches" of backing , batting, and front, quilt each block together, and then sew the rows of blocks together with generous seam allowances.  Snip the seam allowances when done to allow for the "ragging" look, and voila!  You have a finished quilt.  Works best with homespun, flannel, or denim, but can be made with regular cottons, too.  Each time you wash it, the more you will love it!
