Accuquilt Whirlpool Class
This project uses 4 "whirlpool" blocks from Eleanor Burns Go! Qube book. Learn how to use your qube to cut the pieces for these 4 blocks and stitch them together. The size of your finished project will be determined by the size Qube you use. There are three fabrics in this particular block, and Penny has made her's red, green and white for Christmas in July! If you have a Go! cutter and qube, you really need to join us for this class!
Whirlpool Wallhanging
This class will teach you how to use your Accuquilt Block.
This block uses dies #4, #5 and #7. Additionally, we will be using the 2 ½” Strip Cutter.
Tools available at Sew Special:
- Go Machine
- Go 2 ½” strip cutter
- Best Press
Please bring to class:
- Sewing Machine with a gently used or new needle.
- Accuquilt Block (of 8 dies) or bring dies 4, 5 and 7 from your block and the matching cutting mat Put your name on ALL of your dies and mats.
- Rotary Cutter and small cutting mat.
- Your traveling quilting tool box.
- Fabric:
- Block Size 6” 8” 9”
- Light (Block & Border) 1/2 yd 5/8 yd 2/3 yd
- Medium (Block) 1/8 yd 1/4 yd 1/3 yd
- Dark (Block) 1/3 yd 3/8 yd 1/2 yd
- Binding 1/4 yd 1/3 yd 1/2 yd
- Backing 5/8 yd 2/3 yd 3/4 yd
- Batting 18” sq 22” sq 24” sq
